A NOTE FROM ERIC

As a professional athlete for 15 years, I learned the art of winning—both on the court and beyond. I spent five years in the US college system, playing at Stony Brook University and ten years professionally around the world throughout Europe and Australia, and those experiences in various cultures and high pressure environments taught me one thing for certain—the better you understand people, the better the results. Success comes from more than talent; it’s the result of a unified culture built on trust, support, and relentless commitment of the individual to something greater than themselves.

As a Personnel, Performance and Development consultant, my job is to develop the culture of a group through connection, educating individuals about themselves and those they interact with, while continuing to develop the greater group on a personal level to ensure sustainable success.

Today, I bring not just a winning mindset to organizations as a consultant, but I bring the tools and how to implement them, as well. I work with the Dallas Mavericks, Olympians, PGA golfers, and high performing corporate organizations to enhance performance, develop personnel, and create cultures that win. Through my global experience, I’ve developed a keen understanding of how to identify and nurture the right people—the ones who turn good teams into great ones.

My mission is simple: to help you achieve consistent success by creating a culture where excellence thrives. Whether in sports or business, the principles of teamwork, leadership, and resilience remain the same. By individuals better understanding each other, performance of the group will only improve.

For Schools

A study published in 2022, found that 46% of students aged 16-25 are suffering from stress that is significantly effecting their mental health.

Suicide is the leading cause of death among young Australians. More than 350 young people aged 18 to 24 take their own lives every year — this is more than the number who die on the roads. For every young person who dies by suicide, there are 100 to 200 more attempts according to the study

Resilience and overcoming adversity has become more difficult for the young people of today with the norms of society shifting. I have built a surefire program that helps students build adversity, learn to better look after each other and understand that how to leverage the way they think to succeed in every aspect of their life.

Results are great but ensuring long term sustainability is just as, if not more, important than ever. Winning comes at a cost but it doesn't have to be to our young people's detriment.

For Organizations

There is no doubt, especially post COVID, the workplace has changed. It is estimated that 12 Billion working days are lost globally every year due to depression and anxiety, amounting to a loss of US$1 Trillion annually.

By next year, 75% of the work force will be driven by Millennials. 21% of Millennials, however, are likely to leave their current job in the next 12 months and only 29% are engaged in their work while 55% are disengaged and 16% are actively disengaged. [source]

The answer? Professional development. 71% are likely to leave their jobs if they become dissatisfied with how their skills are used and 61% believe professional development directly ties into job satisfaction.

Understanding the next wave is instrumental in developing a healthy working environment that achieves results and creates continuity. There is no, one blanket approach to development however the connection to well-being and professional development is clear.

Kerry S., Principal K-12

“Eric's ability to connect with our students is something that is incredibly beneficial to our students and staff. His experiences as a professional athlete and his journeys resonated with our students quickly and they certainly took what he had to share on board. His ability to make such an impact has left us impressed.

Eric also delivered an excellent presentation to our leadership group. His story is inspiring but the way he connects his experiences and relates it to every other story in the room is what made his presentation so meaningful. His presentation certainly left a lasting impression on our staff and gave us the tools to make our school environment a more student and teacher friendly environment to be in. Highly recommend."

Louis I., Head of Sport

"Bringing Eric in was so beneficial for us as a group, including the feedback I received as a coach. I was really impressed with how quickly he was able to connect with the students and understand them at a real depth to ensure they were able to get the most out of the session with him.

I saw a completely different team the next day at training. They were all locked in and engaged the whole training, communicating, giving feedback to each other, holding each other accountable in ways that we had never seen before as a staff. They seemed so much more mature, understanding more and more about themselves and their peers!

They definitely took the information on board and have grown from it in a very pivotal time in their lives!"

Lisa D., Event Organizer

"Eric's Keynote Speech was a truly inspiring experience. His journey as an athlete, combined with his candid discussion on his mental health journey, left a profound impact on everyone in the room.

Eric has a unique ability to connect with the audience, offering valuable insights and practical advice. Eric uses his story as a powerful reminder of the strength of the human spirit and the importance of prioritizing our mental well-being and how we can do so while still chasing our biggest goals. His keynote made a very lasting impression on myself and our audience members.

I would definitely recommend Eric for any future events."
